Clinics & Conventions

Clinics are a fantastic way to get to know others in your state as well as learn from different programs around the nation.

  • Established in 1974, the Clear Lake/White Pass Cross Country Camp is the oldest continuously running Cross Country Camp in the Northwest. The camp differentiates itself from other running camps by presenting a program designed to help all campers develop their skills, regardless of abilities or experiences.

Since 1984 the camp has been based at White Pass Ski Resort and Condominiums. This site allows a training elevation between 4500-6000 feet. Every year over 420 runners from all over the Northwest, Alaska & California attend the camp.

  • The camp is the brainchild of several South Sound Coaches who recognized the need for an affordable developmental cross country camp in the area. We offer training advice for individuals and teams by an experienced staff of coaches and recognized experts. The camp is a combination of running, training information, fun activities, and other information to help runners understand their support and achieve their full potential. Over the course of our history, we have had runners go on to win individual and team awards including state titles and All-America status. Some have gone on to run collegiate success, and even professional running. Regardless of their ultimate success, our goal is to help each runner improve and develop a love for the sport, and a continuing passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Camp meets in the back of Lakes High School (10320 Farwest Drive SW, Lakewood, WA 98498). Our general sessions and activities are held at Lakes, and the running takes place in nearby Fort Steilacoom Park.
